Stampin' Up! Convention Swaps

Hi All!

This week is the annual Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City.  I was unable to attend this year, but was so blessed to have my downline Sarah take swaps for me.  That means that I will have tons of fabulous card ideas to share with all of you.

Here are some of the swaps I sent with her.  The 1st card is a "catalog lift" card.  It was cased from the Stampin' Up! catalog, page 47, using the It's Wrap stamp set.  The sample in the catalog is a decorated paper bag, but I have converted the idea to a greeting card.  It goes to show you that the catalog is great place to turn to if you need card ideas!

The next 3 cards were created for a Technique Card swap.  Since many of you have been enjoying my monthly technique classes, I wanted to get some great ideas for technique cards!  These techniqes are Spotlighting, Ghosting, and the 3rd card is Bleach stamping.  Can't wait to see all the great new swaps!

And, on another subject, just a reminder that the "Reason to Smile" promotion ends July 31st.  With an order of $50, you can purchase this great stamp set for only $5 in either wood or clear mount!

Good Monday moring to everyone!  Hope all had a Happy Father's Day!

I have been busy getting ready for the new catalog, and wow, isn't it awsome!  I was so happy to see that they kept some of my favorites and of course sad to see some go.  But, I am loving the new products that Stampin' Up! has added.  I absolute love the new In Colors...but of course I have always loved Jewel Tones.  That would be my best description of the new colors...

As in past catalogs, the In Color stamp pads & cardstock is available in a bundle for $29.95. (Item #126835)  It includes the 5 new In-Color stamp pads & 20 sheets of cardstock (4 each of 5 new In-Colors).  Also, if you would be interested in participating in my ribbon share, you could get 2 yards of each of the new In-Color ribbons for $10.37.  Or, if you are interested in 1 yard of each of the new In Color ribbons, the price is $5.19.  contact me at kendzora_b@hotmail.com if you are interested in any of these products!

You can create beautiful projects with these color coordinated products!!!

Today's card was created by one of my fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators for our recent shoebox swap.  She used the Make a Cake & Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets.  The card base is Baja Breeze, with Summer Starfruit & Midnight Muse accents(two of the new In-Colors).  Love the little pinwheel on top :)

Thanks for stopping by, more samples coming soon :)

Having fun with the new Stampin' Up! stamp sets!

I hear from so many people that there just isn't enough time in the day, and I have that same problem.  But, I just had to make time to play with the new stamp sets in the Stampin' Up! 2012-2013 catalog.

For this card, I used the Everything Eleanor set.  I love the flourish stamps in the set and everything looks good in black. The focal color is Summer Starfruit one of the new 2012-2014 In Colors.  It's in between Yellow & Lime.  I love it!!!  I watercolored the flower & cut it out and covered it with Crystal Effects.   Here is a close up...

On Saturday, I participated in a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Shoebox Swap.  I have told you all about these swaps before...Demo's design cards and bring enough supplies for everyone.  We then create each other's cards.  What a great bunch of gals...thanks everyone!!!

So, here is the first of many cards I will be sharing from the shoebox swap.

Another sample using the Everything Eleanor stamp set.  Also, this sample uses the  Loving Thoughs stamp set for the sentiment, Colors: Summer Starfruit, Soft Suede, and Rasberry Ripple ink.  Soft Suede ribbon.  Also, used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Labels Collection Framelets, and 2 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch.

Well, back to another busy day!  I will share more projects soon...Thanks for stopping by!

Time for a digital card!

It has been a while since I shared a digital card.  One great thing about creating digital cards is that you have all those great stamps, designer papers, & embelishments right at your fingertips. You can re-size the stamps, & change colors. If you dont like your creation, you can start over with just a click.  You can print your project on your home printer, or use the professional print vender through the program with a guarantee that the colors will match Stampin' Up! colors.

There are many stamp brush sets available from stamp sets that are retired.  If you missed out on purchasing your favorite rubber, you may find it in the My Digital Studio downloads.  Have a favorite designer paper that retired...maybe it is one of the many designer paper downloads.

There are tons of downloads to choose from.

Every Tuesday Stampin' Up! has great new downloads available to add to your program.   When I saw the new Soft Blooms download this week, I just had to snatch it up!!! Can you believe this card is digital....It looks sooo dimensional!

Soft Blooms Digital Download    #130080       $3.95

Just a reminder, you can download a 30 day trial of the Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio for FREE!!!  Absolutely no obligation to purchase.  Why not give it a try?

Word Play Simple Card !

Hello Bloggers!

You know, sometimes I get so busy planning classes & workshops that I dont make time for personal stamp time.  I have been trying to make more "me time" in my stamp room and it has been so rewarding :)  I love to create when I'm not "under the gun" so to speak, for a deadline.

So, today, I am sharing another quick card layout that could easily be reproduced for any theme, or color scheme.

Here is the supply list for my card:

Stamp Set, Word Play

Card base:  Crumb Cake, stamped with En Francais background stamp

Cherry Cobbler 2 1/4 x 4 1/2

Designer Paper (Paisley Petals) 2 x 4 1/4 (retiring May 31st)

Sentiment 1 7/8 x 3, stamped in Cherry Cobbler

Sponge Daubers (used Cherry Cobbler)

& Stampin' Dimensionals (always :)

Hope you enjoyed today's sample!  How about you give this layout a try.  I would love it if you e-mailed me a photo of your creation!!!

Come back soon...
