More Stamp Camp Share!

You know, I just realized I hadn't shown you the card we created at the Mother's Day Stamp Camp!

We used the Urban Garden designer paper. The colors in this picture are a bit off (sorry!). The designer paper swatch on the right has Kiwi Kiss & Old Olive in it. Did you notice the punch??? It is the New Scallop Oval featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog! If you were wondering, this punch is very similar in size to the Large Oval Punch. The Small Oval fits nicely inside. These oval punches coordinate with the new Oval All Stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog. Stamps sets used: Flowers in Silhouette (pg. 208 of Idea Book & Catalog) and Great Friend also featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog. They were inked up with In-Color, Baja Breeze. Card base is Whisper White, and Basic Black used for band. This card was very simple & quick to create. I just love that Urban Garden Designer paper!!! Just a reminder...the current IN COLORS will be retiring June 30th! So, if you have a favorite, (or 6 favorites LOL) stock up soon! And, that also means any coordinating product featuring an IN COLOR!

I found this card design on the Stamper's Showcase! Every day, Stampin' Up! presents card samples on our Demonstrator Web Site submitted by fellow demonstrators. It is so great to be able to find awsome card samples, just a click away!!! Another awsome benefit of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!!! How about joining my team???

Mojo Monday Sketch & May Stampin' Up! Specials

Sometimes we all need a little creative inspiration! So, today I wanted to share a link to the Mojo Monday sketch blog. Each week they present a new sketch, and they have beautiful card samples using the weeks sketch. A great place to look for card layout ideas! So, today I created 2 cards using this mojo monday sketch!

For each card I used the Baja Breeze In-Color cardstock , Night of Navy, Very Vanilla cardstock & Urban Garden designer paper. Stamp set: Thoughts & Prayers Ink: Night of Navy. On the 1st card I used my Sizzix Big Shot dies: Stampin' Up! exclusive Little Leaves, and the Daisy Flower. Punches: Scallop border, 1 3/4 Circle, & Boho Blossoms.
The 2nd card uses Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, & the same Urban Garden designer paper (flip side of 1st). Thoughts & Prayers stamp set, Night of Navy ink, punches Scallop Circle & 1 1/4 Circle, and the Sizzix Big Shot Exclusive Beautiful Butterflies (punched in velum). Love that butterfly die cut...A MUST HAVE!!! I adhered one of the Rhinestone Brads - Circle Ice! Trick I learned at Stampin' Up! Regionals - I removed the Rhinestone from the brad & adhered it with a glue dot to the butterfly! I also used the Sizzix Texture Plate, small dots, for the background of the card & also used a texture plate on the butterfly to give it a little personality!
A few reminders: May Stampin' Up! specials include designer paper and 12 x 12 textured cardstock buy 3 get one FREE! You can mix & match! Sneak peak offer on the new Jumble alphabet coming July 1st- available for purchase in May for $35.16 (That is 20% off retail price). And saving the best for last: Purchase the Stampin' Up! Mother's Day Stamp Camp Projects

Today I am sharing pictures of the Mother's Day Stamp Camp projects.

This is a photo of the gift I created for customers that invited a New Camper to stamp camp. I truly appreciate it when you bring along your friends to introduce them to Stampin' Up! by attending one of my events! So, as my thank you, I created these desktop photo frames to coordinate with the evening's projects. They were created using 4 x 4 chipboard coasters covered with Urban Oasis designer paper. Two of them were tied together with coordinating ribbon. The sentiment was stamped with the Echoes of Kindness stamp set. For a special touch, I ran velum through the Sizzix Big Shot using texture plates. Then used the Butterfly die cut! I love the soft look of the velum butterfly. And, yes, I dug into my stash of flatback pears from the Stampin' Up! Pretties Kit! Here are a few more pictures of the completed frames! And, photos can also be added to the back!!!

Frames, front & back!

In celebration of National Scrapbooking Month, I wanted to share this fun scrapbooking idea to create an album in an evening. This album is encased in a CD case. You remove the plastic insert, & the cover holds the album. It has 10 scrap-able pages, that are 4.24 x 5. The album is held shut with a belly band.

Again, we used the Urban Oasis designer paper. I absolutely love this color combo! The paper includes Baja Breeze, Kraft, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, & White! The coordinating cardstock was used throughout the album. Here are a few more pictures of the completed project.

The final project was glass etching! We used the exclusive Sizzix- Stampin' Up! Butterfly die cut. I absolutely love the butterfly die cut!!! It is a Sizzix, Stampin' Up! exclusive!!! (A must have!!!) We cut out contact paper. Then adhered the negative to the front of the votive. Then sponged on etching paste. Let set, & rinse! How cute is that???

Thank you to everyone for your awsome response to the Mother's Day Stamp Camp! I hope these ideas inspire you to create something beautiful!

All supplies Stampin Up! except as follows:

cd case, glass votive, chipboard coasters & contact paper.

Hope you had a very, Happy Mother's Day!

Sunshine Garden Stamp Camp!

Hello Stamping Friends!
Finally getting around to uploading the picture from my last Stamp Camp! These cards were so much fun to create with the Sunshine Garden Simply Scrappin' kit, envelopes, a few punches, and some of the gorgeous Sale-A-Bration Ribbon, and, of course, a variety of stamps from assorted Stampin' Up! sets!
Some of the cards, I created myself. And some of the cards were designed by fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Erin Madson. In fact, her cards were the inspiration for the class. I loved her ideas, and had been wanting to present a class creating cards using Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' kits.
The Simply Scrappin kits include a variety of designer paper, 12 x 12 cardstock, and coordinatig stickers. They are such a great value at $19.95 each! They are great for scrapbooking, and as you can see, creating greeting cards as well!!!
Stampers left with ten cards, ready for the next occasion. Another idea presented, was to create the cards, stamp the sentiments & punch them out with the Wide Oval Punch. Then, wait to assemble the sentiments until the occasion arose. That way, they would have just the right card for the next occasion!!! Some lucky stampers also left with some great door prizes, including stamp sets!!!
Thank you so much to all that attended camp! I am really looking forward to stamping with you again, and am already gathering ideas for the next stamp camp. If you have a stamp camp idea, please let me know. I would love to hear from you!!!
Have a great week-end, and a very blessed Easter with your families!!!
All supplies, Stampin' Up!
