Happy V Day!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

I wish I could send a valentine to every one of you...but I am tellin' ya, I was doing good to get just a few of them stamped & sent in time. Wow, I am going to have to schedule my life better! Maybe make a daily list of tasks, & check them off! If any of you would like to share how you manage to get everything done, please leave a comment! I truly need help!!!

But...I wanted to make time to share a few ideas with you. So, I have uploaded some of my cards. Varied styles & stamp sets. I hope you enjoy them...

The 1st Valentine was created with the Love You Much stamp set! Card base with Whisper White, Pretty In Pink cardstock was embossed with the new Sizzix Big Shot Texture Plates! WOW! I love these! This set of texture plates features exclusive images from Stampin' Up! stamp sets. The one I used matches the Baroque Motiffs stamp set! Designer paper is from Rasberry Tart. (My new favorite) Kiwi Kiss mat behind the image. Image watercolored with Pretty In Pink ink & Aqua Brush. Flower punched with Trio flower punch & adhered with Square Rhinestone Brad. (These brads are really beautiful!) This was a very simple card to create!

Look at that cute little mouse!!! He is from the Happy Heart Day stamp set.

I wanted to try something different...So I used the Scallops die cut with my Big Shot. Then I snipped between the scallops to make a flower. Cardstock is Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, & Whisper White. Watercolored the mouse, and adhered a heart from the Trio flower Punch with a brad. And, a little tip...I wanted a black brad, so I used a Sharpie marker on a Gold Brad. The sentiment was punched with the Word Window punch and then I attached Red Gingham ribbon. I thought this one was really fun!

This card uses the Happy Heart Day stamp set. Very cute artwork in this set. I watercolored the elephant with Grey & hearts with Pink Pirouette. Carstock, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Kiwi Kiss. Ribbon is White Grosgrain!

The last card was meant to be more formal. Cardstock Very Vanilla, Ruby Red, & Chocolate Chip. I used the Love You Much stamp set, watercolored the Love image with More Mustard & Watercolor brush. I didn't purchase the matching punch for the Love You Much set (want it...) so I used a small heart punch I had in my stash (OH MY...you wouldn't believe my stash). Finshed with the Chocolate Chip Poly Twil ribbon (retired).

Here is a close up of the punched hearts adhered to the background. I really like this look. It could be achieved with any punch, circles would be cute!!!

Thanks for looking! All supplies Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted!

Have a great day!

Elegant Monogramed Cards!

Oh so elegant!!! I absolutely love the look of black & white! And, with the Bella Toile' background stamp, what a gorgeous look!

This card was created for a Stampin' Up! workshop this week-end. The request was from the hostess. She wanted elegant, monogram, black & white cards. I had so much fun with different ideas, and this is what I came up with.

The card base is Whisper White. I used the Big Shot Top Note die cut, with black as a base. Then again, stamped with the Bella Toile' background stamp & Basic Black ink. Then I snipped off the edge to make the layered look. Then, I used the Lovely Letter stamp set (it is amazing) stamped my initial, & cut out with curvy label punch. I tied on the White Tafeta ribbon, & adhered the monogram with dimensionals. I just love this card. And, it was her idea (inspiration)! Thanks, sista'!!!

And...my gift to her, this mini pizza box gift set!

I created the box from the template that has been going around. Used the same Bella Toile' background stamp, cardstock, etc. I also added a belly band in black, with Burgandy wide grosgrain. And, yes...I dug into my stash from my Pretties Kit for the beautiful hat pin.

Monogram Gift Set

Here are some more pictures of the mini pizza box monogram set.

The cards are 3 x 3. The little gift set includes Stampin' Up! small square envelopes!

Just too fun!!!

All supplies used are Stampin' Up!

Thanks for visiting.

Top Note Valentine Treat

I am having so much fun with my new catalog goodies:) The Rasberry Tart dp is gorgeous! It makes such a sweet valentine. I used the Cameo Coral, and dp with the Top Note die cut. The stamped tag was created using the Happy Heart Day stamp set. Old Olive cardstock was on the back layer of the tag.
