Inks: Versamark, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Creamy Caramel, & Craft Whisper White. Cardstock: chocolate Chip, Bashful blue, Barely Banana, & Whisper White.
She also added Dazzling Diamonds with a 2-way glue pen. All supplies are Stampin' Up!

A Quick Little Card!

Sometimes, we just need a quick little card! Not a lot of fuss!
This card idea was from my monthly Stampin' Up! magazine. I really like the simplicity of it.
For my card, I used Pink Passion cardstock. I used the 1 1/4" & 1" circles to punch Old Olive, Taken with Teal, and Only Orange cardstock. I stamped the BoHo Backgrounds stamps on Whisper White with Only Orange & Pink Passion ink. Added the Taken With Teal Grosgrain ribbon with a glue dot.
The sentiment is difficult to see in this photo (sorry) but I used one of my Sale-A-Bration rub-ons which says "happy day"!
Simple & Quick!
All supplies are Stampin' Up! Have a "Simply Happy Day". Thanks for looking!

Stamp Club Projects

Good Morning!

These are the the stamp club projects we did last week-end.

The first card is actually made from a 5 3/4 x 4 3/8 envelope. You seal the envelope, score 3 sides at 1/4" and cut off 1/4 inch off the top. You fold the sides & bottom & make a little bag. The envelope is stamped with Boho Backgrounds in Really Rust. The blooms are stamped with the One of a Kind stamp set in Blue Bayou & Soft Sky and punched with the Boho Blossoms Punch. The Tafeta Ribbon was tied on the top through the Double Rectangle punch. By the way, the Wildflower Mix template was a download I found on the web. Let me know if you want a copy & I can e-mail it to you. There are 4 per page. This little bag can be folded flat to mail in an envelope. Would be fun to tuck a little note, or a customer's suggestion of a gift card! What a great idea...how about Mother's Day?
Maybe a gift card to your Mother's favorite greenhouse???

The 2nd project is using the "Crayon Resist" technique. It was stamped with the Doodle This & All Holidays stamp sets.
The flowers were stamped on Whisper White cardstock in Jet Black Stazon. We then used the White Watercolor Wonder Crayon on the part of the flowers we wanted to 'resist". Then used Regal Rose ink stamped over the blooms with sponge daubers. You then rub off the ink with a kleenex and the white will show through. The background between the blooms was stamed with Always Artichoke also with sponge daubers, or sponge. Other cardstock used is Always Artichoke, Regal Rose, & Basic Black. Also used the Ticket Corner Punch. The ribbon is Regal Rose grosgrain, and do you see the Silver Ribbon Slide? It is soooo cute! It is only available until May 31st in the Hodgepodge Hardware from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Thanks for looking....all supplies (except the template) are Stampin Up!

Enjoy!

Good Morning Bloggin Friends!

I have been trying to make time to "share" with all of you, but I tend to get a little behind now & then. Last week-end was my Stampin' Up! Upline meeting, and as always I truly enjoyed it. Lots of great ideas, and stampin with fellow "addicts"!

This was my SWAP card, which includes the Enjoy Every Moment bundle (one of this' month's specials). The Jumbo Wheel is free with purchase of the stamp set. My previous post has more details, take a peak at stampinup.com, or call me for more info! On this sample I used my "Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the enjoy over the flower. The cardstock is Pink Passion, Lovely Lilac & Whisper White. Ink: Pink Passion, Green Galore & Basic Black. Can you see the "bling"? I took a brad, covered the top with a mini glue dot & dipped it in Fine Cosmo Stampin' Glitter. Pressed it down with my fingertip, and adhere to card with 1/16 circle punch. I love the little sparkle it adds to the card.

The 2nd sample today is a scrapbook page topper! The Enjoy Every Moment bundle was used again on this sample. Cardstock: Real Red, Ballet Blue, Whisper White, & Bashful Blue. Ink: Real Red & Bashful Blue.
The large flower is from the Die Cut Blooms in the Occasions Mini Catalog-only available until May 31st! Also, used the Word Window Punch, 3/4" circle punch, The red flower is punched with the 5 Petal Flower Punch. Well, darn it, I now need to place another order. All supplies used are Stampin' Up!

Hope you Enjoyed today's samples. Have a great day!!!

Scrapbooking samples from my archives!

My love for papercrafts actually began with scrapbooking. I have done some 12 x 12 albums in the past. But, when I started rubber stamping, I was mainly making cards. I haven't done much scrapbooking . However, I do have a few samples from my archives using my Stampin' Up! products.

The first 2 pictures are a paper bag album I made almost 2 years ago. I used the Petal Prints flower on the cover, & used a coin envelope for a tag holder.

The paper bags are folded in half & cardstock is folded & tucked in each opening with binder clips. That way, all pictures can be safely displayed "acid free". The 2nd picture is one of the pages inside the album. I used ribbons for the binding.

This is a 6 x 6 scrapbook page which used the Delight in Life stamp set. (one of last year's Sale-A-Bration sets) The 3 x 3 stamped sheet shows how you can make a 6 x 6 and transition your work into an 8 1/2 x 11 or 12 x 12 scrapbook album.

This is a 2 page layout using the Seeing Spots stamp set & Headline Alphabet(reitred). the pages are also 6 x 6 each.

Another 6 x 6 using the So Very stamp set (last year's Sale-A-Bration). I also used the Seeing Spots set, & designer paper.

This 6 x 6 page uses the Some Like It Hot (retired) stamp set. It was a great Summer stamp set.

The 6 x 6 scrapbooks are great for themed albums, or Summer vacations. They are a great size because you can use your 12 x 12 scrapbook cardstock, cut it in fourths, & the pages are large enough to capture 4 x 6 photos & lots of journaling.

I hope you have enjoyed these simple scrapbooking ideas. I hope to get back to my scrapbooking soon with more to share.

Thanks for looking!

Tags, Tags, Tags!!!

Good morning, ladies!

Today I am sharing a story of how I ended up making all these tags...At all of my workshops I had been demonstrating greeting cards, and I was becoming quite comfortable demonstrating cards, when I had a Hostess tell me " I would like to make tags at my workshop"! I was a bit nervous... I had never done tags!

But, I love a challenge...and when we challenge ourselves we grow! Well, I needed to practice, so I made a variety of tags, different themes and styles. They were so much fun, and really, not difficult at all.

Well, for the tag workshop, I demonstrated the center two tags! For the Noel Tag, I searched the internet for free sheet music, and downloaded the song "The First Noel". I printed the sheet music on Whisper White cardstock, cut it down to side, & distressed it. I used a Stampin' Up! alphabet to stamp NOEL, cut it out & assembled. Very easy. The Happy Holidays tag used the So Swirly Wheel (retired) Regal Rose & Old Olive stamped with Shapes & Shadows stamp set (retired). We added some glitter for a little sparkle!

All supplies Stampin' Up! I hope you challenge your creativity & make something beautiful today. Happy Stamping!

More Archives!!!

The cards I am sharing today use the Baroque Motifs stamp set! It is one of my favorites.

The first sample is a z-card. To make this fold, cut a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 lengthways at 4 1/4". Fold it in half at center. Then fold the top flap, back to the left on center. I used Almost Amethyst Black, & Whisper White cardstock. Embelishment is a Rhinestone Circle Brad. I used Black & Versamark inks. This card is an example of how striking a card can be, just using black ink.

The next two cards use Kraft, White, & Ruby Red Cardstock. Choc. Chip & Ruby Red ink. Choc. Chip Grosgrain ribbon. The last card uses the Small Oval Punch. The stripes were made with the Background Sampler stamp set (retired). All supplies, Stampin' Up!

I hope you are enjoying the archives samples. Thanks for looking!!!

Some of my past favorite projects!

This is an altered lunch tin I did quite a while back. It was a great day spent crafting with my sisters. We each did a tin, & theirs were equally beautiful!!! So much fun, and hey sisters...time for another craft session. Isn't it?
These tins are available at craft stores, all over, in various sizes. This one opens on the front, just like a lunch box. I use this one to store cards in, but they also would make a great recipe box. It is covered with retired Stampin' Up! designer paper & stamped embelishments stamped with the Carte' Postale stamp set, & Headline stamp set (retired). I finished the project with LOTS OF RIBBON and some sparkles!
The 2nd project is one of my favorites, a nugget box. This one is a "six pack"! I stamped the image on the front with the retired Petal Prints stamp set. I like distressing, so I played around with it, using markers to color my stamp before stamping the image. I sponged the stamped image with Chocolate Chip ink. All products used are Stampin' Up! with the exception of the designer paper.
Thanks for looking. Come back again to see more past projects!!!

From My Stampin' Archives!

Stamp Camps are so much fun!!! This picture was from the one sheet wonder stamp camp we did quite a while back.

The one sheet wonder is a great technique for creating a stack of cards ready for the next unexpected occasion!
For a one sheet wonder, you select a stamp set, & randomly stamp a sheet of white card stock. It is more interesting if you use multiple colors, and a variety of images. Then you slice up, or punch the stamped cardstock to create a varity of layouts for your cards.

For this one, I used the Artifacts stamp set (retired). Which, by the way, was a stamp set I purchased in Feb. 2006 at a stamp camp I attended. That was when I decided to "sign up"!!!

I also used Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Cool Carribean (retired in-color), Sahara Sand, & Ruby Red cardstocks & inks. A variety of punches, & ribbons to embelish. The mini-tote holds the cards, a great gift idea!!!

All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Happy Stampin' Up! Anniversary to Me!!!

This week will mark my 2 year anniversary as an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! Wow...has it really been 2 years? Thank you, soooo much, for your support, comments, your business, and your friendship.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the projects I have done through the past 2 years. So, during the week I will be posting some of my past card designs. Some of them you may have seen at various workshops, or camps that you have attended. I hope you enjoy taking a little walk with me down memory lane.

Today's card is "my very first" swap card. Swap cards are cards designed to "swap" with fellow demonstrators (or friends). I framed this one, as a rememberance of my first Stampin' Up! upline meeting. The stamp set is called Sheltering Tree. It is a little difficult to see, but I did the faux stitching across the Bashful Blue Cardstock. The image was stamped with Versamark & I pounced the colors with Stampin' Pastels chalk. (I had limited stamp pads at that time) As always, all supplies are Stampin' Up! Thanks for looking!!!

Enjoying the Free Wheelin' Deal!

I totally love this stamp set!!! The Enjoy Every Moment stamp set is one of 6 sets included in the Free Wheelin' Deal which includes a FREE wheel with selected stamp sets. This set is on page 51 of the Spring-Summer Collection Idea Book/Catalog. It has a great assortment of 11 stamps and, with the promotion, a FREE Daisy Dash Wheel (an $8.50 value). It will be so much fun to ink up & play with. This promotion ends April 30th!

This is my first practice card! I was feeling a little "funky" with the Pixie Pink & Green Galore Ink & Cardstock. I used the 1 3/8", 1", & 3/4" circle punches to make the off-kilter circles on the background. All supplies Stampin' Up!

Not sure about this card... but I do know I will have a lot of fun trying out more ideas!!!
