I made this purse, a long time ago, and have always loved the colors and oh yes, paisleys.
I really like the way this card turned out. I hope you like it too! Find something that inspires you to create something beautiful today! Have a great one!!!
Today's card used the Friendship Blooms Sale-A-Bration set.
Cardstock is Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White., & Regal Rose. Ink is Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, & Regal Rose. Again, the blooms are stamped using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line them up! (I am really liking this tool)I cut the large blooms out & adhered them with brads. I used the Bo Ho blossom punch with Old Olive cardstock to add some texture to the large blooms. All supplies Stampin' Up!
Not sure about these colors...was trying to try out the Eastern Eclectic style shown on page 10 of the Stampin' Up Spring-Summer Collection 2008 catalog.
Let me know what you think!!!
Mine uses the small tag punched in Glorious Green for the hat, word window punched twice, once in Black & once with Glorious Green. The little shamrock is actually the 3 flower punch (I snipped on it a bit to make the shamrock). The face is the 1 3/4 circle punched in Blush Blossom, ears Blush Blossom punched with 1/2" circle. Beard is Only Orange punched with Scallop punch (See, I told you this was a Must Have). Face designed with chalk & Black Stamp N Write marker. The Happy St. Patrick's Day stamp & Wheel are retired. Card base is Whisper White. All supplies are Stampin' Up!
Today I want to share an interview with Shelli Gardner, the Cofounder & CEO of Stampin' Up!
She was hosted on Craftcast.com with her story of how Stampin' Up! evolved from her passion of stamping to the International business it has become. The interview is approx. 36 minutes long, and Shelli begins approx 8:49 into the podcast. If you have a few minutes, it is very interesting to hear how this remarkable woman has shared her passion for stamping with over 500 employees, 500,000 Independent Demonstrators, down to you, our valued customers.
I hope you enjoy listening, and Craftcast is a great source of info. for any crafter.
