It Was (past) Time to Organize!!!

Well gals, I haven't forgotten about you. My life has just been getting in the way of my stamping. I have been trying to get caught up on work, etc. Then, I had this big chore to tackle... OMG!!! Where did all this stuff come from? I have enjoyed all types of crafts for years...so I have this great little space in the basement "Just for Me". I have packed, & packed, & packed all these great supplies for projects into my little space. It includes supplies for sewing, beadwork, scrapbooking, and most importantly rubber stamping! So, it was way past time to get organized.

I got all my goodies organized into baskets & containers. All my idea books are now within arms reach, & I have this great shelf for my rubber stamps. I am still waiting for custom shelving for my punches, but the current system works o.k. for now. The main thing is "I am organized". The only thing I have left to do is to sort these baskets which are filled with cardstock scraps. How small of a scrap is "too small to save"? Oh well, if I have a place to stash it, I keep it all!

Then, I had to make one of the "Onesie Cards" I have been seeing all over. They were desiged by Lauren M and you can find them on her post dated February 5th. They are so adorable. I used Sage Shadow, Apricot Appeal, & Whisper White cardstock. Stamped the word"Giggle" from the Warm Words stamp set with Sage Shadow ink. The neck & legs are punched with both 1 3/4 & scallop punches. White grosgrain ribbon attached on front. All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Let's Sale-A-Brate!

It is Sale-A-Bration Time! Today's card uses the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Friendship Blooms.

I love this color combination: Blue Bayou, Chocolate Chip, & Wild Wasabi!

I used Blue Bayou ink & cardstock. I stamped the large flower in Blue Bayou, stamped on Blue Bayou cardstock, & cut out the image. Stamped again on Whisper White cardstock & layered the flowers. The 3 small flowers in the set were stamped in Blue Bayou & cut out & layered on the card. The swirl stamp & sentiment were stamped with Wild Wasabi. Wild Wasabi cardstock was used, scallops punched with the slit punch. Card also uses Chocolate Chip cardstock. Wild Wasabi ribbon was used. This is a really fun stamp set, can't wait to create more projects!!! You can receive this stamp set FREE during the Sale-A-Bration with a $50 purchase between now & March 16th. Contact me for more details. All supplies used are Stampin' Up! Thanks for looking.
