Acordian Scrapbook!

Good morning everyone!
Today I am sharing this little acordian scrapbook. I got this ideaat my last Stampin' Up! Upline meeting. You can use any theme, family, baby, vacation, grandchildren, or, or, or ....There are twelve 4 x 4 pages to scrap, journal, or add photos.

To make this project, you use 1 sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock. I used Whisper White. You cut the cardstock into 3rds. Every 4 inches. Then you score each piece, every 4 inches. You adhere them together. Then I used Western Sky designer paper. I stamped with the Wanted stamp set. Added ribbon, brads, any embelishments you choose. I decorated both sides of the cardstock. The little brad on the front is from the Hodgepodge Hardware in the Occasions Mini Catalog. (Only available unitl June 30). There is a beautiful assortment in this kit!!!
I also used co-ordinating cardstock, River Rock, Soft Sky, Ruby Red, & Blue Bayou. If you want more info, just give me a call. All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Idol Update: The new American Idol is David Cook!!! My favorite was David Archuleta. But, hey, they were both great, and they both will be successful. In the past, it didn't really matter who won, just like Daughtry!!! He is very successful. And, wow, they each got a new car!!!

Pretty One of a Kind!

Good Morning ! What a beautiful morning.

With all of the fabulous Stampin' Up! products to choose from...sometimes it is difficult to decide what to share with you!!!

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I have the opportunity to earn great products, FREE! I have been saving myGreat Rewards points, and decided to use some of them to get the Pretties Kit. I was so excited to receive my "Pretties Kit".

Wow!!! When I opened that box, I was so excited to see the beautiful die-able flowers, pearls, crystal beads, hat pins & rhinestone brads. There are endless possibilities with this box full of great products. Do any of you have this bad habit of wanting to "save your goodies & not use them" . This one is just too great not to use!

This card uses Sage Shadow cardstock for the base. I punched a 1 3/8 square, cardstock in window is Very Vanilla. The background is stamped with a BoHo Background stamp and I accented the swirls & flowers with my Signo Gel Pen. Flowers were stamped with the One of a Kind flowers in Versamark & punched with the BoHo Blossoms punch. Sentiment from One of a Kind stamped in always Artichoke. Ribbon is White Taffeta. The beautiful flat back pearls are from the "Pretties Kit". It is a MUST HAVE for all you Stampin' Addicts out there!!! . I will be creating more products with my Pretties Kit, and plan to use of of the die-able flowers in a project, soon. I hope you enjoyed today's card, as always I welcome your comments. All supplies Stampin' Up!

Have a fabulous day!

Stamp Club Projects

These two cards were from the last stamp club workshop. Since Father's Day is fast approaching, I wanted to share 2 masculine cards with the group. We have been learning new techniques each month and the first card used the Faux Leather technique. You cover a piece of cardstock with pieces of masking tape. Sponge on inks, we used Creamy Caramel, Wild Wasabi, Bravo Burgandy, & Chocolate Chip. Let dry a bit, then cover image with Versamark ink, & emboss with clear embossing powder. The embossing powder gave the surface a shiny, sheen.
The stamp set used was Wanted, Cardstock is Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, & Very Vanilla. Stars are punched with the small star punch.

The 2nd card used the All Holidays stamp set & Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel. Inked with Night of Navy. Cardstock is Night of Navy, Real Red, & Whisper White. The large star is On Board Chipboard from the OnBoard Simon Upper chipboard assortment. We inked the chipboard Summer Sun Craft ink using sponge daubers. We found it inked up nicely with two coats. While wet, sprinkle with clear embossing powder and apply heat gun. We then punched a hole in the chipboard with the Crop-a-dile, and tied on Navy Grosgrain Ribbon. With a different sentiment, this card would be great for graduation, or a birthday card. All supplies are Stampin' Up! Thanks for looking!

Oh Baby!!!

I have been working on baby shower invitations, and have been so excited to share. But, I needed to wait until the guests received theirs first.

This was my first sample.

It uses the Baby Talk, & So Many Scallops stamp sets.

Then I made the next sample. It used the Wild About You & Taffy stamp sets.

The proud mother-to-be is expecting a boy...and she plans to decorate his room with the cutest little zoo animals. So, It is only fitting that the shower theme is "Zoo Animals". So I put the elements of both into the final design!
There are 4 different invitations, each guest will one of the 4 animals. The zoo animals are from the Wild About You stamp set. The tiny dots are from the Three for You Punch Box. The tiny tag is from a retired SU set, Baby Talk. Cardstock is So Saffron, Ballet Blue, Night of Navy, & Whisper White. Ink is Creamy Caramel, Ballet Blue, Mellow Moss, So Saffron, & Chocolate Chip. Accessories: Ballet Blue & Navy grosgrain ribbon, Scallop Circle Punch, 1/16 circle punch. All supplies Stampin' Up (except white ribbon).
